ARCHITECTURE & CLOUDHow does GnamiSI work with my project files?
GnamiSI is a desktop workspace for Windows and macOS. It opens a folder on your machine so its agent can read and edit your project files. Cloud runs send selected file contents to a Cloudflare Worker and return proposed changes to the desktop app.
VERSION CONTROL & SAFETYHow does the Time-Machine Git Wrapper prevent agent hallucinations from breaking code?
Every time an agent proposes a file edit, a micro-snapshot of the working tree is committed to an in-memory virtual branch. Above the Monaco code editor, a scrubbable timeline displays every micro-commit. If an agent introduces a regression or breaks tests, clicking the prominent harsh white-bordered "REWIND" button instantly restores the exact previous state with sub-second latency.
SECURITY & PRIVACYWhich models work in Local mode?
Local runs use the Codex CLI for supported OpenAI models and the Grok CLI for supported xAI models, each with its own sign-in. GnamiSI does not receive or store those credentials. GnamiSI does not collect, store, or use provider API keys. The Cloud picker shows the separate Workers AI model list.
EDGE INFRASTRUCTUREHow does the Cloudflare Login Rate Limiter protect developer authentication?
Authentication endpoints are guarded by a Cloudflare Edge Rate Limiter configured to enforce a threshold of 5 requests per 60 seconds per IP address. When triggered, the edge Worker returns standard HTTP 429 Too Many Requests response headers (Retry-After, X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining) and displays a synchronized cooldown countdown banner in the interface.
BILLING & PAYMENTSWhy is PayPal the sole payment gateway for GnamiSI Pro subscriptions?
In strict adherence to our architectural blueprint, PayPal is integrated as the exclusive billing provider for recurring subscriptions and checkouts. All billing transactions route securely through Cloudflare Workers backend logic to PayPal REST APIs to provision compute quotas and isolated cloud credits.
LOCAL AGENT ACCESSCan I run Ollama or LM Studio models offline in GnamiSI?
Not yet. Local runs use the Codex CLI or Grok CLI with their own sign-in. GnamiSI does not receive or store those credentials. Offline Ollama and LM Studio model endpoints are not connected to GnamiSI.
AUTONOMOUS GOVERNANCEWhat is the Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) safety threshold?
The HITL safety gate halts autonomous agent execution whenever a destructive operation (such as modifying schema files, overwriting critical modules, or executing sensitive terminal commands) is queued. A bold modal presents the proposed diff or command, requiring the developer to explicitly choose "Approve" (solid white button) or "Reject / Modify" (transparent bordered button).
ACCOUNT & SESSIONSDo I stay signed in across gnamiai.com, gnamiai.ca and gnamiai.live?
Yes. Browser cookies cannot span separate domains, so the first time you visit one of the other domains while signed in elsewhere, it silently verifies you through a one-time single-use token and signs you in there too — no extra login click. Signing out signs you out of the domain you are on.
